Facebook Fan Page 101 Workshop

Offered as a part of the Launching Leadership Series.
Have you ever asked what is social media and Facebook? Why would I use it?
Social Media is a going way to communicate to your friends, customers, future customers and other interested parties about what is going on with you, your business or organization and/or cause(s). During the workshop, you will hear from people and businesses or organizations that are currently using Facebook; learn the basics of setting up your Facebook account; learn the basics of setting up a Fan Page; and networking online and in person. You will go away with handouts to help you.
This Launching Leadership Workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 17th starting at 8 am. The workshop will be at the Dover-Foxcroft Penquis office located at 50 North Street in Dover-Foxcroft. The cost of the workshop is $15. Call Helen at the Penquis Higher Education Center at 564-2942 or via email at hkelly@emcc.edu to reserve your seat. Seating is limited to 25 so call early.
